Nr4 was a store and showroom featuring smart and innovative women's clothes and accessories by young designers from Europe and the US, such as Correll Correll, Hui Hui, Marie-Louise Vogt ,Klein Corpse, Mirror, Susanne Schmitt and Kyoko Hashimoto Jewelry. Most of the designers had a background in Product design and art, a fact that is reflected in their focus and unique use of crafts, materials and concept. It also translates to the interior of the shop, where the clothes were displayed amidst deconstructed and intricately reassembled pieces of furniture, that were handmade in a collaboration with the fine artist Katharina Trudzinski. The store was located on the first floor balcony of a 1970's landmark social housing project, right in the heart of Berlin's Kreuzberg district. The store also made use of its unique location to host a series of live concerts, exhibitions and events on its outside balcony during the summer.
